 Bed bugs are tiny, dark brown parasites. They feed on human blood; however, bedbugs are not considered a public health issue since they are not known to transfer diseases. A bedbug bite is like a mosquito bite; it results in a red, itchy bump. Some people get allergic reactions from bedbug bites and some people may have no reaction whatsoever. 

 Bed bugs are hidden when there is light out and come out in the dark to feed on your blood. They can be found in mattresses, bed bases, crevices and even behind photo frames on walls! Bedbugs infestation can be avoided by maintaining hygiene, regular vacuuming of the floor and carpets, regularly washing the beddings with hot water and washing your clothes with hot water. These tips can be used to get rid of bed bugs from infesting your home.
